Instead, the transmission has a clutch in itself, and the vehicle with SMG transmission has the feature of playing with the gears, even if the driver does not interfere with the gears. On the other hand, if the driver wishes, he can do the gearing himself. In SMS transmissions, if the driver wants to shift while giving the vehicle gas, the vehicle cuts off the power for a short time, performs the shifting process, and then continues to power up. Thanks to this system, the driver never has to take his foot off the gas. This power-down time is variable by the driver. In this context, if the driver wants a comfortable ride, he can cut the gear slowly and in a longer time. In this system, there is an obligation to increase the gears sequentially. For example, the user can only shift from first gear to second gear. The system does not provide the possibility of shifting to third gear. The same is true in the case of downshifting. There is an obligation to downsize the gears one by one.
